Blain Harris wrote on Greater Kamloops Motorcycle Association (GKMA)'s wall: Went to duffy today just to take the little guy out on his first ride on his 50... and talked to a gradder guy who was de-activating all the road side camping spots on the sides of the road. . He said this was a last minute decision by the forestry... so there is only gonna be 2 spots avaliable for camping.. a lower rec site and the duffy lake rec site.. just thought I would post this if anybody is planning on camping up there say.... may long weekend..

Andy James wrote on Friends of Tansky's wall: The VMC's spare porta John has been moved up to Peter Baileys new property (formerly Ken Brotherston's) at the bottom of Tansky main. We have a sharing agreement with Peter. We will use it for our events, he can use it too. Please respect Peters property lines, we are planning on re-routing some trail around his property so that we can then de-activate the trail(s) that were running across it. but until then, please discontinue use of the trails on his land. Andy James wrote on Friends of Tansky's wall: VIDRA, Vancouver Island Dirt Riders Assoc. has been in discussions with the VMC, (Victoria motorcycle club) to see if they'd be OK with VIDRA handling the land stewardship of the Tansky Rec Site area. The Provincial ministry is waiting to hear the results of these discussions. We'll keep you informed. As always, your help out there is always appreciated, we'll be doing a work party soon. Andy James wrote on Friends of Tansky's wall: I was out to Tansky on Saturday and I cleaned up DEE-LITE. I walked a nearby area and decided on a new trail to build, anyone wanna help? Also, I checked out some new logging roads farther up JR main, Queesto is connecting JR to N(orth)-300 at the east end, this will be good for enduro events for VMC.
