Any information on Vedder mountain maintenance? Lots of drainage issues, ruts, deadfall all over the place etc. I see the BCORMA signs are up, which is great; however, there's lots of work to be done up there. Thx.
Well I can vouche for three riders and Platinum trail passes. But there are just way to many that ride Vedder! And alot that should not ride Vedder!! That probably dont even know what off road liability insurance is! Best we can do is keep the trails open and in decent shape and try and spread the word! Hope to see you up there sometime!!
So did you do any clean up while you where their? Its up to all of us to help keep the dead fall clear and the bridges in decent shape etc. At least a few minutes on each trail that you rode would do. Cant relly on just the club members to do all the work!! Thats why we have this system so that everyone can help out and keep our trail systems alive and functional.

Yes I did actually. Nice try though. However, I can only clear smaller deadfall with a handsaw. After my second tree my saw was beat. I'm sure everyone else riding up there clears the trails and buys the trail pass right?
LOL. Sorry didnt mean to offend!! Was up on Sunday the 12th Had a great ride. We also went through 2 hand saws! But most of the blue and Black trails were pretty decent! Not to muddy or slick etc. I wish everyone that went there help the trails!!

Yes I agree. I guess my main point is that it would be nice if everyone that rode there actually bought a trail pass so the maintenance money allotted would reflect the higher actual usage. Cheers.
